Mark J W Lewis
Mark is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and a Member of the Institute of Company Directors. His experience spans over 35 years in a multitude of sectors including tourism, investment and working with Indigenous groups. Mark established MLCS Corporate in 1992 and provides general and strategic financial advice to a range of clients from both the profit and not-for-profit sectors. His particular areas of specialisation include business review and analysis, acquisition advice, taxation, native title negotiations, financial and corporate structuring. Mark is on a number of boards as an external director, providing additional consultancy services.

Paul J Case
Paul is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years commercial experience and is a Registered Company Auditor. Since joining MLCS Corporate in 1995 as a Director of the company and co-proprietor, Paul’s expertise has developed with a major focus on business planning, strategic planning, and development strategies to create wealth for his clients. His industry expertise covers the retail, tourism and mining sectors and in recent years he has developed a niche offering to Native Title Claimants in exploring commercial opportunities associated with agreements.


Peter Marin
Peter has over 14 years business experience working with individuals, families and community groups. As a graduate of Roseworthy Agricultural College, Peter has grounding in agricultural and natural resource sciences. Peter initially became involved in working with Indigenous clients via his work with the Indigenous Land Corporation and Primary Industry South Australia. Peter joined MLCS Corporate in 2008. Peter also specialises in the delivery of corporate governance training and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Michael Critchley
Senior Consultant
Michael holds a B.Ec from Adelaide University; is a Certified Public Accountant; and a registered Tax Agent. Michael is a Senior Consultant who is generally involved in strategic business advice looking at how we do things more efficiently. Michael provides general commercial knowledge and strategic tax advice for the profit and not-for-profit sectors. He has prepared detailed business plans, Information Memorandums and technical advice on a broad range of issues and been involved with significant projects for the purchase and installation of major capital projects.


Hyeon Wrightson
Hyeon is a senior accountant who has worked for MLCS for eleven years in all facets of the business, including accounting, financial planning and business consulting. She is an Associate Member of CPA Australia. She currently holds the position of Business Manager and specialises in resolving complex accounting issues and in corporate governance. Her excellent technical knowledge has been gained in her current position and from her previous experience with other financial planning and investment organisations.

Philip Hough
Phil, a senior associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a member of the Institute of Public Accountants, joined MLCS Corporate in May 2011. He had previously spent 40 years working in the banking industry, specialising in Transaction banking services, before retiring from that role. He brings considerable expertise in banking and finance matters. Since beginning with MLCS, Phil has been involved in assisting Indigenous clients in South Australia with Joint Venture arrangements within the mining industry and negotiates finance raising with commercial lenders on their behalf.


Cheryl Ross
Cheryl has worked in the area of Aboriginal Affairs for many years, particularly in the area of Business and Economic Development. Her career within the Commonwealth Government covered the following agencies – Department of Aboriginal Affairs; the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC); and Indigenous Business Australia (IBA). She has had extensive experience working with individuals, communities and organisations in urban, regional and remote areas covering several States. Since joining MLCS Corporate in 2014 she has supported Indigenous clients in developing their business aspirations. Cheryl holds a Cert IV in Business Facilitation.

Rebecca Brooks
Rebecca is a consultant who has worked for MLCS Corporate for 11 years in all facets of the business including administration, accounting and business consulting. Rebecca continues to provide administration support to the Directors, consulting and accounting staff. Her role has developed over many years to undertake key projects within MLCS Corporate. In recent years Rebecca has worked closely with MLCS Corporate’s clients in providing them with executive office services, particularly relating to preparing board packs and minuting meetings, as well as providing day to day support for clients between meetings.
